Teaching Pedagogy


The programme for MBA closely follows the curriculum and examination patterns as prescribed by the University of Kerala. In order to minimize the gap between classroom participation and real business situation a balanced approach to the teaching and learning process is adopted. This is achieved through a variety of innovative and progressive practices. Theoretical orientation coupled with case analysis, group discussions, role plays, business games, seminars, mini projects, assignments, industrial visits, experience sharing by the CEO’s etc as the salient features our teaching pedagogy.

Series Tests

Two series tests and one model examination is conducted for each semester in order to prepare the student for appearing in the university examination. Students are evaluated on the basis of the scores in these tests and special attention will be given to students.

Seminars and assignment

Students will have to undertake seminars and submit assignments on a regular basis in every semester.

Budget Analysis

Every year students are exposed to live National and State budget presentation. Students from groups and they make critical analysis of the challenges and impact of the budget. The whole exercise is led by the faculty members of the institute and thus it helps them to keep abreast of the developments in the economy and in understanding the role of government in Business policy of formulation. Our college library holds a good collection of Budget documents and Economic Reviews published by the governments.

Invited Lecture Series

In order to bring the students more closer to the business environment, regular meetings and interaction with business heads of various firms visit the the college and share their experience with the students. Industrial visits & Organizational Studies

For understanding of the dynamic business environment frequent industrial visits and organizational studies are conducted. (photos link)
